ABOUT US

The Holistic Centre for Neurodiversity is a purpose-built, neuroaffirming service in Wentworth Falls. We provide therapeutic and developmental supports for neurodivergent children, teens, and adults.

The Holistic Centre for Neurodiversity (HCND) Practice Framework is trauma-informed, developmentally attuned, and NDIS-aligned—meeting individuals where they are, and supporting growth in ways that are neurobiologically, emotionally, and functionally sustainable. We uphold the highest standards of privacy, integrity, and transparency—ensuring that every interaction is grounded in trust, clarity, and respect.

Our Purpose

Our Mission

The Holistic Centre for Neurodiversity exists to transform how support for neurodivergent individuals is delivered—setting a new standard grounded in safety, autonomy, and respect. We are committed to safeguarding the rights and wellbeing of every person in our care.

Our mission is to lead with purpose by delivering innovative, evidence-informed services honouring sensory, emotional, and developmental needs across the lifespan.

Through attuned, relationship-based practice, we support children, teens, and adults to build regulation, deepen self-understanding, and engage meaningfully across home, learning, and community life.

We don’t just deliver services—we shape environments where neurodivergent people can thrive.

Our Vision

We envision a world that recognises neurodiversity as a natural and valuable part of human variation—where support systems are not designed to ‘fix’ difference, but to honour it.

At the Holistic Centre for Neurodiversity, we are building a future where neurodivergent children, teens, and adults are supported in environments that are developmentally respectful, trauma-informed, and sensory-attuned.

These spaces nurture autonomy and reflect each person’s unique neurodevelopmental profile.

Our vision is to lead a systemic shift away from compliance-based models and toward inclusive, relational, and neuroaffirming practices—where all neurotypes are empowered to thrive through connection, agency, and meaningful participation.

The HCND Practice Framework

Key Features of our approach:

  • Practice-based and grounded in lived experience

  • Structured yet flexible to meet changing developmental needs

  • Transparent, ethical, and responsive to feedback and individual goals

  • Developed by our founder as a culmination of the most relevant research and evidence for neurodivergent individuals—refined through direct work with neurodivergent people and families to ensure the model is grounded, responsive, and practical.

Frameworks and Standards we align with:

  • UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD)

  • UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC)

  • National Framework for Assessing Functional Strengths and Support Needs

  • NDIS Practice Standards and Code of Conduct

  • National Principles for Child Safe Organisations

The HCND model is a purpose-built framework designed to meet the everyday needs of neurodivergent individuals across the lifespan. It integrates current research in neurobiology, developmental science, and trauma-informed practice to support real-world regulation, communication, identity, and autonomy.

These guide how we structure sessions, involve families, and define progress. Every element is designed to uphold dignity, autonomy, and safety — embedding neuroaffirming, trauma-informed, and developmentally respectful support at every level.

We are committed to transparent and ethical service delivery. Feedback is welcomed and actively used to refine our supports. If concerns arise, we have clear processes in place to address them with respect and care. Our safeguarding and risk management practices are designed to protect the wellbeing, autonomy, and rights of every individual we support.
